All figures are pulled directly from The Mexican’s Google Business Profile monthly performance email. Mav Method did not touch the numbers.
The starting point
The Mexican is a family-owned restaurant in Central, South Carolina. The food and the following were already real. What was missing was any way for a new customer to find them, understand what they served, and take a next step online.
Before the rebuild, there was no website. The Google Business Profile had dated photos, a vague description, and no consistent posting. If a first-time customer looked them up, there was almost nothing to look at.
What was missing
A modern homepage that Google could actually read and index. A menu customers could scan on a phone in one thumb. Photos with search-matched captions. A Google profile that told a consistent story about the food, the space, and the hours. A weekly posting cadence so the profile stayed active.
What we changed
Two-part rebuild in late June 2026. First, we built The Mexican a website from scratch: clean pages Google could read, a full menu, a location and hours block, and photos of the actual food and space. Second, we rebuilt the Google Business Profile from the bottom up: new photos with search-matched captions, complete menu categories, and a working weekly post cadence.
What Google reported
The numbers on this page are the client’s very first full month after the rebuild. July 2026. Straight from Google’s own monthly performance email.
The two most important numbers to us were the ones tied to real business outcomes: 179 calls (up 54 percent month over month) and 342 website visits (up 173 percent month over month). Those are people who moved from “curious” to “taking a next step.”
Why it mattered
A restaurant with great food and a loyal following can still lose the first-time visitor who does the phone-in-hand check on a Friday afternoon. What changed for The Mexican was not the food. What changed was that a first-time customer could actually find them, see them, and act on it.
What this does and does not prove
This is one client, in one category, in one market, in one month. It shows what can happen when a business rebuilds its website and Google presence at the same time and follows through on a consistent posting cadence. It is not a guarantee that any other business will see the same numbers. Results depend on market, category, starting point, demand, proof, competition, and follow-through.
